Aswin Dhananjai Krishnaswamy is a Master Graduate in Product Development and is actively seeking full-time opportunities in the same field. With two years of industrial experience in Product Development, he is skilled in CAD, CAE, and Geometry Assurance. Aswin is highly proficient in Solid and Surface modeling with CATIA and Alias, as well as simulation software like RD&T. Currently, Aswin is working as a Master Thesis Student - Solidity at Volvo, where he is working on a project titled "Multi-disciplinary Optimization of Geometric Variation and Dynamic Behavior for Squeak & Rattle Prevention" as a part of his Product Development Master's degree. He has performed a literature study on the methodologies used to reduce squeak & rattle noises, benchmarking study with competitor vehicles on how the components vary in design, modeled a simplified version of the chosen geometries for the study using CATIA V5, performed Geometric Variation analysis using RD&T, performed dynamic response analysis using ANSA & Nastran, and performed Multi-Disciplinary Optimization using ModeFRONTIER and MATLAB. Aswin has also worked as a Summer Intern - Solidity at Volvo Cars Corporation, where he worked on reducing squeak and rattle in Volvo cars. He has experience in model preparation of different parts using ANSA for geometrical variation analysis and modal analysis, geometrical variation analysis on Instrument cluster fastening using RD&T, optimization of the number of fasteners and the position of fasteners using ModeFrontier, dynamic stiffness and modal analysis on Instrument cluster using Nastran, application of Genetic Algorithm techniques like MOGA II in optimization, verifying different DOE algorithms and optimization algorithms in optimization, multi-objective optimization on the instrument cluster with geometrical variation and modal analysis, and response surface methodology (RSM) on the optimization to achieve quicker results. Aswin has also worked as a Student Ambassador at AFRY. He holds a Master's degree in Product Development from Chalmers University of Technology and a Bachelor of Engineering in Automobile Engineering from Anna University.
